Algebra - 1-7 Solving Equations Containing Absolute Value - Yesterday's assignment was collected and discussed individually with students. While I was meeting individually with students they were either completing the assignment (if not done as HW) or working on today's assignment; Formative Assessment 1-7. These formative assessments are not a graded assignment but rather a check for understanding. NO HW if Monday and Tuesday's in class work is completed and turned in.
7th Grade Math - Convert Numbers (Fractions) to Decimals - Pgs 45-46 in the Practice and Problem Solving were collected, graded and returned. The daily assignment was given to students who completed yesterdays homework; Pg 42-43 in the Instruction booklet. Studnets who didn't complete Monday's assignment were tasked with completing Pg 45-46 in the Practice and Problem Solving book before doing today's assignment. NO HW if Monday and Tuesday's in class work is completed and turned in.
8th Grade Math - Understanding Pythagorean Theorem - Students took a practice quiz over Understanding Pythagorean Theorem. The quiz will be Thursday. HW - Study for Thursdays quiz.
