Algebra - 1-7 Solving Equations Test Review - Students will have a test on Friday over Chapter 1; Solving Equations. Today students were assigned the Chapter Review problems 1-49 on pages 50-53. Students will be given two days two work on the assignment and ask questions. The assignment is due on Wednesday. HW - begin to study for the test on Friday.
7th Grade Math - Multiply & Divide Rational Numbers - Pg 44-45 from the Instruction book was discussed, modeled and solved together with students. Key vocabulary and examples were provided and students were expected to take notes and copy down solved problems. The daily assignment was given; pg 49-50 in the Practice and Problem Solving book. Problems 1-2 were modeled to help students get started. HW - finish pg 49-50 if not completed in class
8th Grade Math - Solving Problems with the Pythagorean Theorem - Students were given the entire period to work and ask questions on the daily assignment, pgs 243-244 from the Practice Problem Solving book. HW - finish pgs 243-244 if not completed in class.
