Algebra - 2-3 Standard Form - The daily assignment was given; pg 73-74 problems, 10, 12 & 16-40 even. Starters for select problems and tips for solving problems was discussed. After class I found two videos that may be helpful in solving problems. Those video have been linked under the Algebra section on the right sidebar. HW - finish Pg 73
7th Grade Math - Adding and Subtracting Rational Numbers - Students were given a make-up day in class to correct any homework assignment, turn in missing work and retake quizzes. There will be a quiz next Tuesday over Adding and Subtracting Rational Numbers so students should begin to study. NO HW
8th Grade Math - Solving Problems with Scientific Notation - The first part of this new lesson (Operations with Scientific Notation) is review. Students were given about 10 minutes to answer questions on pg 38-39 of the Instruction book before discussing together in class. The daily assignment was given and students had time in class to work on pg. 41-42 of the Practice and Problem Solving book. HW - finish pg 41-42 of the Practice and Problem Solving book.
