Algebra - 2-1 Write and Solve Equations in Slope Intercept Form - Class began with a review and discussion of the Chapter 1 Test. Students were informed they can retake the test for full credit starting Thursday (to allow time to study) regardless of their grade. A review of Slope Intercept Form was followed with the daily assignment; Pg 61-62 problems 14, 16, 18-27 all and 28-36 even. HW - finish pg 61-62 if not completed in class.
7th Grade Math - Multiply & Divide Rational Numbers - Students were shown their quiz from last week. The quizzes were reviewed and discussed along with how to solve each problem. Tomorrow students will complete a retake of the quiz. HW - review for quiz retake on Tuesday.
8th Grade Math - Scientific Notation - Class began with a discussion and review of Scientific Notation (taught in 7th grade science) along with students taking notes. Pages 28-29 in the Instruction book were reviewed, modeled and solved together. The daily assignment was given and students had the remaining time in class to solve page 31-32 in the Practice and Problem Solving book. HW - finish pgs 31-32
