Algebra - 1-5 Solving Inequalities - Pg 30-32 including examples were discussed and modeled together for students. Students were asked to take notes of steps, vocabulary and other important factors to remember when solving inequalities. Students were given WS 1-5 Reteach & Build to Understanding was assigned. A help station was set at the front of the room for students to check work. NO HW
7th Grade Math - Multiplying and Dividing Integers - Pg 24-25 in the Instruction Book was reviewed and modeled together for students. Student took notes on Multiplying Integers and helped write/identify a rule to use determine the sign of the product. The daily assignment was given and students had time to begin in class, pg 29-30 in the Practice and Problem Solving book. HW - finish pg 29-30 if not completed in class.
8th Grade Math - Rational and Irrational Numbers - Pg 22-23 in the Instruction Book was reviewed and modeled together for students. Student took notes, including a Venn Diagram to identify the difference between Rational and Irrational Numbers. The daily assignment was given, pg 23-24 in the Practice and Problem Solving book. HW - finish pg 23-24 if not completed in class.
