Algebra -  1-2 Use Inverse Operations to Solve Equations - Class began with a review of solving equations using inverse operations.  Students were given the daily assignment, 1-2 Additional Practice WS (problems 1-6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17) and all class period to work and ask questions.  HW - finish 1-2 Additional Practice WS if not completed in class

7th Grade Math - Adding Integers - With the class average from yesterdays quiz being a 50% it was apparent we needed to spend more time doing review and practice for adding integers.  Class began by reviewing and discussing the quiz,  students were then given additional practice problems and the remainder of class to work and ask questions.  There will be a retake quiz for everyone who wishes to take it Monday during class.  If a student chooses to complete the retake their first quiz grade will be thrown out, regardless of how they do on the retake.  HW -  study and practice for the quiz retake on Monday.

8th Grade Math -  Understanding Properties of Exponents -  Class began with a review of the rules and shortcuts for Properties of Exponents.  Pg 8-9 in the Instruction book was completed together.  The daily assignment was given and students had the remaining time in class to complete Pg 9-10 in the Practice and Problem Solving book.  HW - Pg 9-10 Practice and Problem Solving book if not complete in class.
